Speak Week is an opportunity for you to give us your ideas on what you’d do if you were in charge of the university. Would you invest more into university services? Would you lower the costs for students? – the possibilities are endless and your feedback will make the difference and will directly influence the work that the Students’ Union does for you.

To finish off speak week we will be hosting a Student Voice Conference, where ideas that you submitted will be discussed and put forward to the student body. This is a great opportunity for you to get your voices heard and share your opinions on student proposals.

If you want to get involved and do some volunteering, we have a few opportunities with Speak Week.
Student Speak Stall Volunteers:
Volunteering to assist with the collection of student feedback postcards and encouraging students to use their voice and raise issues that matter most to them. These can be done on any date that you are available and wish to participate.
Student Speak Week Committee:
A limited number of places are still available to join the Student Speak Week Committee, where members will work together to shortlist the final recommendations that students will vote on at the Student Voice Conference. Students from various paths of student life are encouraged to have their input on the committee, whether you’re a part time officer, course representative or even a member of a society your participation counts.
The Student Speak Week Committee will take place on the 29th of January from 10.00AM to 5.00PM in the following location:
Meeting Room, Treforest SU - Top Floor, CF37 1DL
(All travel costs (public transport and Tap On, where applicable) and lunch will be covered.)
