Welcome to the Birdwatching Society page.
We promote the interest of birds in and around Treforest and Glyntaff. Join us for bird walks and trips, ID sessions, bird surveys, documentary nights and creative sessions. We have some exciting bird species around campus including Green Woodpecker, Goshawks, Red Kites and even Tawny Owls. On the river Taff near the bottom of campus we can glimpse the amazing Kingfisher, Dipper and the beautiful Goosander. If you have been birdwatching for 10 years or 10 days or simply curious, grab your binocular and come along, lets go find some birds!
